The location of the hotel was excellent, with beautiful views of the lake and beachside. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome, remembering our names. We also enjoyed meeting interesting and friendly fellow guests. The food options were great, with a variety of choices including fresh Florida fish and vegetarian options.

We encountered some problems with Love Bugs and Yellow Flies during our stay, which the hotel couldn't do much about. Additionally, the construction on the property affected some amenities such as live music and draft beer availability.
